Six Honda models have been recognized by the IIHS for their safety. Three of these models have received the Top Safety Pick + designation, the highest safety rating awarded by the IIHS.

These are the Honda Accord, the Honda Insight and the Honda Odyssey. Two Honda Civic models and the Honda CR-V were awarded the Top Safety Pick award.

To earn a Top Safety Pick rating, a particular vehicle must receive the highest possible score in all IIHS crash tests. Its safety and driver assistance systems should be rated Advanced or Superior while its headlights should be rated Good or Acceptable.

All new Honda models received excellent marks in all tests, but these six models particularly stand out.
